Herbal Health Class w/ Tea Tasting or Workshop

 

As the great philosopher, Socrates says, "Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine thy food". The health benefits of drinking tea and herbal blends are not widely known. We provide onsite herbal health educational classes and workshops covering a wide range of information from the cause of dis-ease and how tea, herbs, and other foods help us become healthier.  The class covers the general health benefits of tea, different tea types and their health benefits, and 9-12 different herbs. Classes include the tastings of 2-3 prepared teas and handouts. We encourage participants to remember old family remedies, share recipes, and other herbal health tips. The workshop is an interactive session. Participants learn about synergistic tea blends and make their tea to address stress relief, boost immunity, improve sleep, and boost memory.

Tai Chi Classes for Health & Wellness 

 

Tai Chi is a gentler form of the martial art Kung Fu. It is well known worldwide for its defensive techniques and health benefits. It has evolved over the last 800 years ago as an effective means of alleviating stress and anxiety and is considered a form of 'meditation in motion' which promotes inner serenity & peace and helps to release tension, manage pain, and loosen rigidity.  Its proper name is Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan). The Vibe Tea House Tai Chi classes include deep therapeutic breathing training, deep stretching, Jin Shin Jitsu, and Trigger Point pain management education.

Indoor Walking-Balancing-Tone Classes

 

This vibrant walking, balancing, and toning class combines brisk walking with enjoyable balance and toning exercises to enhance your strength, stability, and overall health.  All activities, although low to moderate impact, will challenge and invigorate the whole body. Experience the refreshing and encouraging atmosphere with varied weekly instruction. Whether you're a beginner looking to boost your fitness or a seasoned athlete, this class is your path to increased activity and enhanced well-being!

Group Mindfulness & Stress Relief Sessions

 

The Mindfulness Stress Relief Sessions with The Vibe Tea House lead participants through 30, 45, or 60 minutes of total relaxation techniques designed to relax muscular tension, calm the autonomic nervous system, and bring participants into a complete mind, body, and breath rest. This restorative practice helps participants harmonize mind, body, mental, and emotional processes, leading to a calmer alertness. Guided exercises are based on the science of mindfulness and neuroscience.
